A Bowlful of Cherries

Celebrating Matty and Noah

Buster Brown.

Now that it’s a blustery 38 below zero here, I figured it’s right time to get Little Face some little shoes. We have been allowing him to traipse around with just socks these past few months and inevitably, while we in the elevator, our landlady asks Matty if he’s lost his shoes. I just always think to myself, well, he’s a wee babe whose feet don’t touch the ground, why would he need shoes? But now that the icy wind is whipping, well, now I see the point. So he has new shoes. And I think they are quite adorable. I believe he likes ’em too.

Up in the air.

Finally this mama lets out a sigh of relief that Little Face is back on the ground.

Outdoorsy Matty.

Poor George, getting his foot chomped on while hanging upside down. Has Matty no mercy?

Oh Christmas tree.

This past weekend we decided it was right time to get ourselves a lovely tree for our cozy home. Of course our cozy home being one incredibly shrinking apartment, we only considered the small wee trees when we hit the lot on Saturday afternoon. Actually I was amazed that the lot had exactly what we were looking for. Usually these places only have the big ones that you can barely get through the door and somehow seem even more ginormous once you get that netting off and the branches hang straight across the room. Well anyway, this lot that we hit had just the specimens that would bring us some holiday cheer without taking up too much space.

Mike tries to get Matthew’s opinion, but all he cares about is his eating his hands.

We picked us a good one alright, I think Matty approves.
