A Bowlful of Cherries

Celebrating Matty and Noah

Our trip to NJ.

On our way.

Our first stop on Saturday morning was lovely Avon-by-the-Sea. One of my very favorite places to be. We hit the sand very early and Little Face dug right in.

We then made our way over to Grandma Chrissy’s house and had a lovely time visiting with all our family and enjoying the wonderful Jersey weather. We took more pictures, but most came out blurry, so that’ll be our good excuse to visit again this summer! We did get this one of Matt in jail, it appears. Love this face.

On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed another family gathering at PopPop Stan’s and Grandma Rose’s. More veggie burgers and watermelon for everyone. Except Matt! But we won’t talk about that part. 🙂

And finally, here we are on the way back to VA. Matt gets serious with his Blues Clues book. And then gets silly with his fishy face.

  4. Thank you, Donna and Jodi! Let me know, as always, if you have any problems, or if something looks right weird.

  5. No problems on my end…hey, cool preview!!! I also love how Matty seems to be floating on the clouds. I like that font used for Bowlful — what is the name of it? Thumbs up over here.

  6. I used binky, but first had to increase the kerning.

(In typography, kerning means adjusting the space between characters, especially by placing two characters closer together than normal. Kerning makes certain combinations of letters, such as WA, MW, TA, and VA, look better. With the binky font, the ‘w’ nearly sits on top of the previous letter.)
